Questions for your Counsellor

You may want to ask your Counsellor the following questions:

Do you have accreditation with ACC or any other professional body?
What training do you have?
What experience do you have?
Do you receive professional supervision?
What Statement of Ethics do you work to and how could I get or see a copy if I want to?
What records do you keep of counselling and who will have access to them?
Do you review how the counselling is progressing at regular intervals?
