PRAYER AND PRAISE: FEBRUARY 2012

MEETINGS

The Board met on the 1st of February. Pray for a good implementation of their decisions.

There is an Accreditation Committee on February the 22nd. This will be an important meeting and the committee particularly value your prayers.

IT OVERHAUL

Over the coming months the IT systems at Head Office are to undergo a major overhaul. We value prayer that the right systems will be put in place and that good priorities will be found within the available budget.

CEO IN INDIA

CEO Greta Randle will be in India with her husband from the 8th to the 28th of February under the auspices of Jesus Echoing Ministries. Pray for safety in travel and in areas where factions are not sympathetic to Christianity. If you would like more information contact ian@acc-uk.org .

CHANGE IN THE PASTORAL CARE DEPARTMENT

Remember Ruth Nelson in her role as 'caretaker' until Teresa Onions takes up post in March.

ACC SUMMER SCHOOL

ACC have made significant 'early bird' price reductions for the Summer School taking place 18-22 June in 2012. This has been extended to the end of February. An exciting programme has been arranged, including training from Dr David Hall, Teresa Onions, Tony Horsfall, Steve Seedall, John Threadgold and Helena Wilkinson. It won't be all hard work, with entertainment from Adrian Plass and music from The Apostolic Choir, Leicester. Please pray for all the preparations.

NETWORK REPS AND COMMITTEES

Remember our volunteer committee members and particularly the UK Network Reps as they promote the work of ACC in their different parts of the UK. Continue to pray for Sean Charlesworth in his role as Network Director. The North West have their conference on the weekend of 3rd February. Sean Charlesworth will be visiting. The Northern Ireland conference is the first weekend in March.

LOOKING AHEAD

To 2013 in fact. The theme of the next biennial ACC conference is "Breathing Room for my Soul". Although January 2013 is a long way off and the summer school in June 2012 comes first, there is a lot of planning to be done and prayer is appreciated for the right trainers to be invited and the right topics to be agreed.
